My son has been attending Tambran for just four months, and in that time, I have witnessed him gaining strides in confidence, emotional maturity, social skills, rapid educational and learning milestones, and most importantly, I am watching my child thrive each day. He comes home happy, excited, sharing about his day, and talking endlessly about his teachers and peers and the many helping hands on campus that connect the dots to ensure children feel safe and loved.

What I value most about Tambran is the team they have assembled to ensure student success and well-being. Every teacher knows the name of every student, no matter the age or grade. The staff includes a wellness professional that helps students learn positive emotional processes and work through big feelings and peer interactions. I don't think bullying could exist at Tambran. Educators make sure everyone — teachers and students — are acting as a team, every day. My son's teachers notice and share with me the areas of learning my son is enjoying most, and they spend one-on-one time with him to make sure he is connected and learning.

The unmatched positive support children receive is largely due to Tambran also making sure their teachers are supported. Teachers are given a space to share and measures are taken to prevent teacher ‘burnout,’ which I’ve noticed in all other school systems. I spent 11 years working in both the private and public sectors of American education, and it is clear that overworked and under-supported staff takes shape in a child’s learning environment. Children are mirrors of their influencers, and in this case, the reflection is wonderful.

I’ve witnessed this team show up with positivity, professionalism and grace in such a variety of circumstances in the short time we’ve been here. I am forever grateful to the founders, administration and teachers for bringing this vision of education to life. We feel so lucky to be part of the Tambran family, and I cannot wait to see what an even more amazing person my child becomes with Tambran’s influence in his life as he grows. It’s hard to give your child to a school and spend less time with them, but in this case, I feel happy each day to see him run onto campus, excited for the great day he knows he’s about to have. Learning was always meant to be fun, and Tambran is setting a precedent for exceptional education and a true love of learning.

Folks like that are what makes these places so special for the kids and as a parent, to know the whole child is safe not just academically or physically but entirely being thought of and considered in all ways throughout the day, is indeed such a peace of mind and a gift that keeps giving.

It’s evident in the kids and that’s the proof that matters. The schools already headed to be head and shoulders above so many others, not just in San Juan but even the ones we thought were good back home and for three times or more back there!

I wanted to thank you all for the Family Day Show. It was fantastic. I really appreciate all the work that you all do and the strides that the children have taken. I almost cried a few times during the show.
